You are the books you read, the films you watch, the music you listen to, the people you meet, the dreams you have, the conversations you engage in. You are what you take from these. You are the brightest light and the darkest corner. You are a collective of every experience you have had in your life. So drown yourself in a sea of knowledge and existence.

Hello! Welcome to this journey…

As many of us, I have always been attracted to the idea of living a good and happy life, until one slightly tilt of direction, followed by motivation that grew within me to know more about it, let me inmerse myself on this endless journey of the self, from the self, to the self and for the self.

Even though this journey is relative and it all depends on the state of conciousness of the observer (yourself), in this blog I want to create a social platform to grow by our interactions and a go-to guide to boost our living while giving you information and tips, all based on scientific evidence to actually make you happier and sustain this way of living.

Let’s go through it

70 % of your serotonin is made in your gut. What’s going on in your gut is going to affect your mood – anxiety, depression, and focus.

– Dr. Frank Lipman

“If we can reach the understanding of what we actually are, there is no better remedy for eliminating all suffering. This is the heart of all spiritual practices.”

– Kalu Rinpoche

The primary and most beautiful of nature’s qualities is motion.

– Marquis De Sade

Think of yourself as a machine that needs to be rewired in order to go through new experiences and actions.

Even though we think that most of the time we make conscious choices, ”An enormous portion of cognitive activity is non-conscious, figuratively speaking, it could be 99 percent; we probably will never know precisely how much is outside awareness.”
                                                                                                                                                                            – Dr. Emmanuel Donchin

So the way how literally we will be, directly depends on how is wired our subconcious mind at that exact time. So “rewiring” our bodies actually makes a lot of sense now that we know, that we can literally shape ourselfs, changing our subconcious mind.

“What you do today can improve all your tomorrows”.

                                                                                                                                                                 – Ralph Marston

How we shape our subconcious mind? That's where the environment comes into play... Our subconcious mind is to some extent the sum of all the internal stimulus that we have had throughout our entire existence, and depending on the time of that stimulus, our body will react in different ways based on the internal framework created until that moment. So however you inmerse yourself (literally everything that you do throughout your existence) will eventually be wired in your subconcious level.

The body, usually aims to work on energy saving mode (survival instinct), so it is constantly trying to make our repeated connections and stimulus, stronger and stronger, this is because then, it can get easily to this connections without creating too much energy, and thus, saving energy in case we need it.
This, is a double-edged sword. It can either make everything smoothier or up hill, depending on the former habits internalized.

"Every experience that you live was born of a thought and that was your choice because you did not know anything better. Today you can decide again".
- Julio Bevione.

To get the benefits, gradually inmerse yourself in the environment that you will want to be affected for, this can be with anything you could think of within your thinking habits and your day to day environments... or new possible environments.
A morning routine can be ideal if you can create it a habit, because at this time it is proven that we have more will, this is because our will is actually a muscle that you can work out so it can get stronger, and as a muscle, it has an energy level that lowers everytime you apply it, so in the morning it would be rest and ready for action.

And remember, the perception that you will have towards this, will be directly dependent on the framework of your past stimulus, and thus, can be gradually changed, 6 months of consistent work can put you two years ahead. INVEST YOUR TIME WISELY!. This work it is not to be seen as something impossible or that requires too much effort, in reality is just evaluate the inputs/outputs of your life and act accordingly to a more compassionate aproach (towards yourself mainly). From every thinking that you have on your day, to investing some minutes of the day to actually relax your body and mind.

First and foremost educate yourself of the consequences of your daily habits (key to more easily get deattached in case you need it). One of the most powerful tools I have used. Our perception of the reality is solemny depending on the connections that we have wired on our brains, so, broaden your perspective through knowledge, would let you to select from a wider variety of choices and habituate to the specific activity you repeatedly inmerse yourself in, the major attributer of this: neuroplasticity.

Now we have the opportunity to literally pick up from endless options to our self formation, it can be trough books, the internet, documentaries, tv shows, social media (I have found Instagram to be useful once you just focus on specific niches that you will want to be affected for), experiencing it yourself... whatever you want, the key is to try to make it either a routine or a fun experience.
For example I have never been a book person, but I have managed to fuse travelling (and the dead hours you spent not doing anything specific on them: airports, while in the transport...) with reading books that will actually make me self improve or, have from time to time a chill night watching some formative documentaries or videos. Of course there is also the ones that would want to be in that constant stage of unknown enviromental stimulus through travelling, for much of the choices I will recommend the things that I have found more useful.

Normally when we do things in group, we have more willingness because the individual willingness fussions into group willingness, making it perfect to get started into whatever you choose to, and try to create it a habit with the constant attendance to it.
It can be shared with people you know, attending some specialized centers, social media or however you inmerse into it, the key is to make it a part of your environment until it is wired and internalized on yourself, from that on it will be really easy most of the time, you will actually not think about it too much..

"The brain, reacts more strongly to stimuli it deems negative. There is a greater surge in electrical activity. Thus, our attitudes are more heavily influenced by downbeat news than good new". - John Cacioppo.

Our capacity to weigh negative input so heavily, most likely evolved for a good reason — to keep us out of harm's way.
Let's see the positive part, studies suggests that people who are more grateful are also more attentive to how they express gratitude. So if you actually are while on your day to day basis reminding yourself how negative attitudes affects you, being grateful for what you have until now, and keeping a positive attitude because you know you will be constantly improving, could actually rewire your brain to be most of the time towards gratitude and positive thoughs with just a tilt of focus on your daily thinking. First it will not be easily created but, even with the slighter reminder your brain would actually get used to this new connections really quickly, you already spend your day-to-day constantly thinking and wondering, why not doing it towards the things that can make us relaxed and improve our lifes?.

Benefits of the positive attitude are created by the focus that we are giving to our reality in that exact moment. The world is neither good nor bad, is dual, is relative, and our reality will be shaped for what we tend to focus on, so if you focus more on rewards rather than obstacles, or what you have had rather than what you do not, you will actually be focusing on receiving more of it, because you will have already internalized that you do have everything you want. Even though it seems a bit "utopian", give it a try, you will be amazed to how actually everything in our reality tends to work towards what we are constantly feeding ourselves, because the only reality that exists in each of our worlds, is our perspective, ourselfs...

“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grade, and gratitude”
